CHILDREN’S PAGE"I have learnt a lot more and feel much safer because I have a clearer idea of what to do. I know I will be Safe, Strong and Free, and won't let anyone take that away."
Hi, thanks for visiting CAP’s website.
It is important to us that all children are Safe, Strong and Free.
The CAP team do workshops all around Devon and Somerset teaching children how to stay safe, strong and free in all situations in their life.
If you have been to our workshops we hope you enjoyed it. If you would like to talk more or would like more information about Devon CAP please email us at info@devoncap.org.uk
It is important to remember that you have rights and that if someone if trying to take away your rights to be safe, strong and free you can:
Say No Get help - tell someone, like a friend, someone you live with or an adult at school
If you are in a situation that feels uncomfortable, if you are being bullied, approached, or touched in a way that does not feel good, then you have the right to say no.
It is important to talk to people you trust. These people may be your friends or family or someone at school.
Please note that we cannot answer any e-mail enquiries or phone calls about specific bullying or child safety situations - please call Childline on 0800 1111, its free.
There is always somebody who can help you. Even if you are afraid it is important to talk to someone.
