Devon CAP and other agencies“The NSPCC Protection Team is fully in support of the CAP Project, both in its aims and its methods of attempting to reach those aims. I hope that many more schools will make use of the CAP Project so that the messages that you give to the children can be spread far and wide."
Devon CAP does not, and could not, work in isolation. The project cooperates with the formal child protection agencies in the spirit of the 'Working Together under the Children Act' guidance.
In the voluntary sector, CAP promotes other organisations in the workshops as potentially useful community resources and seeks opportunities to work with them in pursuing common goals. These include NSPCC, Childline, Parentline Plus, South Devon Women's Aid, and Homestart.
